2024
Marcolin strengthens its partnership with ZEGNA through the renewal of the licensing agreement until 2030, announces that Christian Louboutin will enter the eyewear industry thanks to an exclusive licensing agreement starting SS25 and signs an exclusive licensing agreement with K-Way®.
Moreover, in 2024 Marcolin received the Certification for Gender Equality, an acknowledgment that endorses the Company's ongoing commitment to promoting an inclusive and fair corporate culture.
2023
It is an historical year for Marcolin, which signs a perpetual licencing agreement for TOM FORD Eyewear and achieved record results thanks to an economic and financial strategy aimed at increasing profitability. It is also the year in which the Group finalizes the acquisition of ic! berlin and takes over its own subsidiary in Mexico.
2021
This marked the beginning of an ESG plan embracing the whole company; significant investments were made in logistics & automation, to take full advantage of technology in order to improve employee well-being and speed up the production line. This year Marcolin celebrated its 60th anniversary.
2014
Marcolin doubled its in-house Made in Italy production by acquiring a new manufacturing facility in Longarone (Fortogna), in the heart of the eyewear district.
2013
Marcolin finalized the acquisition of Viva International Group, the second player in the US eyewear sector.
2012
PAI Partners, a leading private equity operator in Europe, finalized the acquisition of the majority stake in Marcolin SpA, subsequently completing its delisting from the Italian Stock Exchange.
1999
Marcolin continued to grow and was listed on the Italian Stock Exchange.
1984
Marcolin significantly increased the number of its employees and achieved a production of one million frames per year.
Giovanni Marcolin founded the “Fabbrica Artigiana” in the eyewear district in Veneto, a company that specialized in making gold laminate temples for eyewear.
