In December 2019, Marcolin Group and GCDS signed a worldwide exclusive partnership for the design, production and distribution of GCDS sunglasses and eyeglasses from 2020 to 2024

The new eyewear collection features details that reflect the character and identity of GCDS. Unmistakable aesthetic elements that are incorporated into both the sunglasses and optical models, showcasing the brand’s style. The comma element, inspired by the iconic COMMA Bag, becomes a plaque signed with the logo, expressing the strength and contemporary nature of the design and GCDS’s trend-setting attitude. The chain logo, derived from the brand's iconic chains and accessories, has been lightened, making the temples thinner and more comfortable, without compromising sophistication and recognizability. The structures are airy, and the metals are crafted and shaped with great skill and lightness. The acetate models are bold, solid, comfortable, and versatile, offering easy wearability. There is great movement in the construction of the collection’s frames, where the curvature and geometries of the fronts stand out, along with the faceting and milling of the profiles extending to the temples. In addition to black and classic Havana tones, the colors are light, clear, and bright, with gradient lenses paired or contrasted with new offerings of transparent or graduated colors such as yellow, mint, or honey.
